The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Twin Beat Perpetual Calendar, reference 3200T/000P-B578, is a sophisticated timepiece released in 2020. It features a 42.0 mm case crafted from platinum, providing a robust and luxurious foundation for the watch. The transparent caseback reveals the intricate workings of the CALIBRE 3610 QP movement, developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin. This mechanical movement offers two modes: Active mode with a frequency of 5Hz, providing approximately four days of power reserve, and Standby mode with a frequency of 1.2Hz, extending the power reserve to around 65 days. The dial is a striking blend of materials, with a gold hand-guilloché slate-colored inner part juxtaposed against a transparent sapphire-crystal outer section. Black oxidised gold hands mark the power-reserve, date, month, and frequency mode with precision. Completing the watch's refined appearance is a grey Mississippiensis alligator leather strap featuring an alligator inner shell and a polished half Maltese cross-shaped pin buckle in platinum.
