TAG Heuer Grand Carrera

A discontinued, upmarket spin on the Carrera, and a very of-its-moment one. From 2007, the Grand Carrera pushed the Carrera premium: bigger, sportier-luxury cases and TAG's 'Rotating System,' polished spinning discs that replaced conventional sub-dials to show the chronograph counters, GMT, or a big date. Movements ran from the Zenith-based Calibre 36 to the in-house Calibre 17 RS. It was folded back into the standard Carrera line in the mid-2010s, so it's pre-owned only now, and a distinctive, tech-forward slice of late-2000s TAG design.
