Finding the right timepiece...

TAG Heuer's flagship, and one of the definitive racing chronographs. Jack Heuer designed the Carrera in 1963 for drivers, naming it after the brutal Carrera Panamericana road race, with a clean, high-legibility dial made to be read at speed. Sixty years on it's still the core of the brand. The current line centers on the Carrera Chronograph in its 2023 'Glassbox' form, a domed crystal that wraps down over the dial exactly like the 1960s original, in 39 and 42mm, running TAG's in-house automatic chronograph (Calibre Heuer 02, now TH20). Alongside it sit three-hand Carrera Date models and larger 44mm Sport chronographs. Panda-dial versions are the ones everyone pictures. It's TAG at its most iconic, and the anniversary Glassbox pieces put it right back at the center of the conversation.
