The Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 16600 SuperLuminova, released in 1988, is a robust and reliable timepiece from the brand's professional diving collection. It features a 40.00 mm steel case with a solid caseback and is equipped with a helium escape valve, distinguishing it from its Submariner counterpart of the same era. The dial is outfitted with SuperLuminova indexes, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. Additionally, unlike some other models, it lacks the cyclops lens over the date window for a cleaner look. The Sea-Dweller 16600 was produced until 2008, when it was succeeded by the Deepsea reference 116660.
