The Patek Philippe Calatrava 5089 The Escalade Festivities model, reference number 5089G-022, was released in 2014 as part of the Calatrava collection. This limited edition watch commemorates the historic night in 1602 when the people of Geneva repelled an attack by the Duke of Savoy. The cloisonné enamel dial features intricate hand-engraving and required between 15 and 28 enamel colors, as well as between 12 and 20 firings at around 800°C. Embedded on the dial are silver and gold leaf, gold spangles, and gold dust, creating a truly unique aesthetic. The case material is white gold with a hunter caseback, and the diameter is 38.6 mm. Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding Caliber 240 movement, this watch also features a sapphire-crystal back protected by a hinged dust cover engraved with “PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE 175e Anniversaire 1839-2014.” Limited edition and not delivered in an anniversary box or with commemorative extras, this timepiece is a rare and exquisite addition to any watch collection.
