The Omega Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer was released in 2022 as part of the Speedmaster collection. It is encased in grade 2 titanium with a solid caseback and has a diameter of 45 mm. Developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), the X-33 Marstimer features a microcontroller that enables it to display true solar time on both Earth and Mars. The black dial serves as an elegant backdrop for numerous analogue and digital readings, which are further enhanced by Earth and Mars symbols that indicate the active functions. The oxalic anodized aluminium bezel ring in red hematite adds a striking touch reminiscent of Mars' distinct dust, while the seconds hand features a gradient from black to red hematite. Turning the watch over reveals an embossed caseback with Omega's iconic Speedmaster branding and Seahorse logo, along with the inscription "SPEEDMASTER X-33 MARSTIMER, ESA TESTED AND QUALIFIED." Powering this exceptional timepiece is Omega's 5622 Calibre movement. Additionally, the Marstimer has a dedicated NATO strap for those who prefer to switch out the titanium bracelet. This remarkable watch is presented in a special watch roll featuring an inner lining depicting Hebes Chasma, a captivating canyon on Mars' surface.
