The Omega Specialities First Omega Wrist-Chronograph Lawrence of Arabia model, reference number 516.52.48.30.04.001, was released in 2018 as part of the Specialities collection. This timepiece features a 47.5 mm white gold case with a transparent caseback, showcasing the intricate inner workings of the watch. The movement of this watch is powered by the original 18’’’ CHRO calibre dating back to 1913, which has been delicately refurbished and renamed as the new Omega calibre 3018. The design of the watch closely follows the traditional look of an Omega wrist-chronograph from 1913, with classic details such as the riveted leather strap, white enamel dial with blued “Empire” hands, and hollow Arabic numerals. Modern materials such as 18K white gold for the case and 18K Sedna™ gold for the crown and pusher have been incorporated into the design. The hatched caseback can be flipped open to reveal the movement positioned behind sapphire-crystal, adding a touch of elegance to this limited edition timepiece. Only 18 of these watches have been made, making it a highly sought-after collector's item for watch enthusiasts.
