The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen The 8000 Limited Edition, reference number MB130811, is a watch that embodies the spirit of mountain exploration. Released in 2023 as part of the 1858 collection, this timepiece is encased in titanium with a solid caseback and measures 44.0 mm in diameter. Its defining feature is the oxygen-free environment within the case, which prevents fogging and oxidation, extending the longevity and accuracy of its movement. The watch is powered by Montblanc's Caliber MB 29.27, an automatic movement that includes a date function and a Worldtime complication with two rotating 3D globes representing the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The dial features orange reference meridians and markers for the world's highest peaks over 8000 meters, complemented by day & night indicators. Additionally, it has a fluted bi-directional black ceramic bezel with cardinal points and luminescent indicators for enhanced visibility during outdoor activities. On the case back, there's a 3D colored laser engraving displaying names and altitudes of the fourteen eight-thousanders.
