The Montblanc 1858 Split Second Chronograph Limited Edition MB126006, released in 2020, is a distinctive timepiece from the brand’s 1858 collection. The watch features a robust 44.0 mm case made of Grade 5 titanium, paired with a gradated blue "grand feu" enamel dial adorned with white Arabic numerals and luminescent hands. It is powered by the Montblanc Manufacture Calibre MB M16.31, a manually wound monopusher chronograph movement with split-second functionality, tachymeter, and telemeter scales. This intricate movement includes two column-wheels for the chronograph functions and has a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The watch is finished with a blue Sfumato alligator-skin strap from Florence, Italy, secured with a titanium pin buckle. Noteworthy design elements include the historical Montblanc emblem at 12 o'clock and various color-coded chronograph hands for enhanced readability. As a limited edition model, only 100 pieces were produced, adding an element of exclusivity to this sophisticated chronograph.
