The IWC Pilot's Watch Timezoner Chronograph (Ref. IW395001) was introduced in 2016 as part of IWC's esteemed Pilot's Watches collection. This model features a robust 44.0 mm case crafted from a combination of ceramic and steel, with a solid caseback that complements its durable design. The watch is notable for its unique world time functionality, which allows the wearer to set a new time zone, including the date, simply by turning the bezel—a feature based on a Vogard patent acquired by IWC in 2014. This innovation integrates three distinct technologies: the city ring from the Pilot's Watch Worldtimer, a sprung rotating bezel that prevents inadvertent movement, and an external/internal rotating bezel mechanism adapted from IWC’s Aquatimer series. Styled with practicality and precision in mind, the watch includes a chronograph function and a 24-hour display, making it ideal for frequent travelers or pilots. It is paired with a calfskin strap, providing both comfort and a classic look befitting its aviation heritage. The Timezoner Chronograph stands out not only for its technical ingenuity but also for its seamless blend of functionality and timeless style.
