The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar IW375030 is a notable timepiece from the revered Da Vinci collection, released in 1985. Encased in polished stainless steel with a solid caseback, it measures 39 mm in diameter and features a classic black dial. This watch stands out due to its perpetual calendar mechanism, which was a groundbreaking innovation at the time of its introduction. The perpetual calendar complication allows the watch to display the date, day, month, and year accurately without manual adjustment until 2100. Hinged lugs add to its distinctive appearance, making it both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Initially fitted with a plexiglass crystal, there was also an option for sapphire crystal upon request. Powered by the early versions of the caliber 7906(0) movement, this model marked a significant milestone for IWC, influencing subsequent models and collections beyond Da Vinci.
