The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar reference IW375023, released in 1985, is a distinguished model within the Da Vinci collection. This watch features a polished Rose Gold case measuring 39 mm in diameter, complemented by a solid caseback. Its black dial is contrasted by subdials, contributing to a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic. The Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar was renowned for introducing IWC's perpetual calendar mechanism to wristwatches, marking a significant innovation in horology at the time. The watch originally came with plexiglass, however, there was an option to fit it with sapphire crystal upon request. Notably, the model has hinged lugs, which add to its elegant design and comfort on the wrist. The watch houses an early version of IWC's perpetual calendar movement that laid the groundwork for subsequent complex timepieces from the brand.
