The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar, reference IW375011, is a notable model from the Da Vinci collection introduced in 1985. This watch features a 39mm brushed stainless steel case with a solid caseback, offering both durability and a classic aesthetic. Its white dial provides a clean and elegant backdrop for its perpetual calendar functions, which were considered groundbreaking at the time of release. The perpetual calendar mechanism, first presented by IWC with this model, gained critical acclaim and was later adapted for use in several other collections by IWC and even by other brands such as JLC. Fitted initially with a Plexiglass crystal, the watch could be customized with a sapphire crystal upon request. The design includes hinged lugs for added comfort on the wrist. Inside, the watch houses one of IWC's innovative calibers from the era, marking it as an important piece in horological history.
