The IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar, reference IW375004, is a notable model from the esteemed Da Vinci collection, introduced in 1985. This watch features a polished yellow gold case with a solid caseback and measures 39 mm in diameter. Its design includes hinged lugs and offers an elegant presence on the wrist. The white dial showcases the perpetual calendar complication, a pioneering feature that IWC introduced with this model, which has since become one of the most widely sold perpetual calendar mechanisms in the industry. Originally equipped with a plexiglass crystal, the watch could also be requested with a sapphire crystal for added durability. The movement used in the early iterations was the caliber 7906(0), which was later updated to meet evolving standards of precision. As part of the Da Vinci series, this timepiece reflects a sophisticated blend of technical innovation and classic style, maintaining its reputation through various adaptations across other IWC collections.
