The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph, reference IW376709, is a robust and versatile timepiece introduced in 2011 as part of IWC's esteemed Aquatimer collection. The watch features a substantial 44mm stainless steel case with a solid caseback, reflecting its sturdy build designed for underwater adventures. This model retains the external rotating bezel, which re-emerged in the Aquatimer series in 2009 after being absent since 2004. Unlike earlier models, this reference does not feature contrasting subdials, providing a more unified and streamlined appearance on its dial. The watch is powered by an automatic movement, ensuring reliable timekeeping suited for both everyday wear and professional diving. Its style merges utilitarian function with sophisticated design, making it suitable for both casual and formal settings. The IW376709 was eventually discontinued in 2014 when IWC introduced the next generation of Aquatimers, marking the end of this particular design iteration.
