The Bulova 98A256, part of the Archive Series Chronograph A collection, was released in 2020 and draws inspiration from the brand's 1970s diver chronographs. The updated version features a gold-tone stainless steel case with a diameter of 40.5 mm and includes blue and red accents on an off-white dial. The distinctive blue oval "surfboard" design encircles the two sub dials, giving the watch its unique nickname. Orange-tipped hour and minute hands, along with luminous markers and an orange chronograph second hand, enhance readability. The watch operates with a five-hand chronograph movement and is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. It comes with a blue perforated silicone strap that has a deployant closure for secure wear. This model also offers water resistance up to 200 meters, making it suitable for various aquatic activities.
