Breitling Cockpit B50

The Cockpit B50 was Breitling's high-tech electronic pilot watch, a titanium instrument built around a rechargeable digital movement Breitling developed in-house. Instead of a mechanical chronograph, you got an analog-digital display packed with cockpit functions: multiple time zones, countdown timers, a flight chronograph, and alarms, all driven by that B50 caliber. It was aimed squarely at aviators who wanted a genuine tool rather than a heritage piece. Breitling has discontinued it, and because it's a battery-based electronic watch, it's a more specialized pre-owned buy than a mechanical Breitling. For the right person, though, it's one of the most functional watches the brand ever made.
