Breguet Type XXII

A discontinued technical showpiece, pre-owned now. Introduced in 2010 as the ref 3880, the Type XXII was Breguet's high-frequency statement: its balance runs at 10Hz (72,000 vibrations an hour), double the usual rate, driving a flyback chronograph that can display a tenth of a second on a dedicated central hand. Around 2,300 were made in steel and pink gold before the 2023 Type XX reboot retired it. A fascinating, fast-beating pilot's chronograph for a collector who wants something technical and out of production.
