Blancpain Air Command

Blancpain's aviation chronograph, and its own collection despite the close Fifty Fathoms family ties. Air Command revives a rare 1950s Blancpain pilot's chronograph, of which only about a dozen originals are thought to exist. The look is pure cockpit: a flyback chronograph with a rotating countdown bezel, built for timing in the air. Blancpain brought it back in 2019 as a 500-piece limited edition, then made it regular production in 2021, in titanium and precious metals. A characterful, historically-grounded chronograph that stands apart from the dive and dress lines.
