Rolex Perpetual 1908

The Perpetual 1908 is Rolex's polite rebuttal to anyone who thinks the brand only makes sports watches. It's the current dress watch, named for the year the Rolex name was registered, and it's the most formal thing they make: a slim 39mm case, a display caseback that actually shows off the movement (a real rarity for Rolex), and a look built for a blazer, not a wetsuit. It comes only in gold or platinum, no steel, which plants it firmly at the luxury end. It's the successor to the discontinued Cellini, and the one you point to when someone insists Rolex doesn't do elegant.
