The slim, dress-minded Panerai. Launched in 2016 as a second-generation Luminor ('Due' is Italian for 'two'), it takes the iconic crown-protecting bridge and sandwich dial and puts them in a case roughly 40% thinner, so it actually slides under a cuff. The trade-off is honest and worth knowing: this isn't a dive watch. Water resistance is 30m on most models, 50m on select current ones, versus the deep ratings on the rest of the range. It also brought Panerai to smaller wrists, including a 38mm, unusual for a brand built on oversized cases. If you love the Panerai look but want something wearable and refined rather than a tool watch, this is the one.
