Oris Chronoris

Oris's very first motorsport watch, from 1970, and a periodic revival piece. The modern Chronoris Date brought back the cushion case and internal rotating timing bezel (worked by a second crown), with retro orange accents. Worth knowing: despite the name, the modern Chronoris Date is a time-and-date watch with a timing bezel, not a running chronograph, though the 1970 original was a true chrono. The revival has since left the catalog, so it's a pre-owned hunt. A characterful slice of Oris history.
