WATCH PURSUIT
Finding the right timepiece...

A discontinued line with a great backstory, pre-owned now. The original Geophysic dates to 1958, an antimagnetic, precise, robust scientific watch tied to the International Geophysical Year. JLC revived the name around 2014-2015 with some genuinely clever pieces: the True Second, with a deadbeat 'true' seconds hand that ticks in crisp one-second jumps, and the Universal Time worldtimer, both using the maison's Gyrolab balance. JLC has since discontinued the revived line. A characterful, technically interesting JLC for a collector who wants something a bit off the beaten path.
