One of Cartier's oldest and most charming shapes, now a collector-only piece. The Tortue ('tortoise') is a rounded, cushion-like case that dates to 1912, softer and more organic than the Tank. It's no longer a standing collection; Cartier revives it through the Prive line, most recently as a single-button (monopoussoir) chronograph in platinum. A heritage shape for the collector rather than an everyday buy, and one with genuine horological pedigree.
