bulova

Bulova is an American watch company founded in New York City in 1875 with a history of genuine firsts. The brand ran the first nationally televised commercial in 1941, produced the first fully electronic watch (the Accutron) in 1960, and had a chronograph worn on the moon during the Apollo 15 mission in 1971. The Lunar Pilot, reissued from that mission chronograph, is the brand’s most recognized reference. The Precisionist line uses a proprietary high-frequency quartz movement with a continuously sweeping second hand. The Marine Star covers sport and dive watches. The Classic collection handles dress. The Sutton covers fashion-forward designs. Now owned by Citizen, Bulova spans quartz and mechanical across a wide price range, with a heritage that connects consumer accessibility to legitimate American horological history.
