Finding the right timepiece...

Baume & Mercier's integrated-bracelet sports watch, and its most of-the-moment line. The Riviera dates to 1973, one of the first luxury steel sports watches with a bracelet built into the case, and its signature has always been a distinctive twelve-sided bezel. B&M revived it in 2021, right as the integrated-bracelet look took back over, and the modern Riviera nails the brief: a 42mm steel case flowing straight into the bracelet, that dodecagonal bezel, and a choice of quartz or the in-house Baumatic automatic, plus smaller women's sizes. It's the brand's accessible answer to the sporty-chic genre.
