Audemars Piguet Jules

Jules Audemars was Audemars Piguet's classical round dress collection, named after one of the two founders and built for people who wanted their AP without a single sports-watch cue. These are traditional round watches in the old idiom: clean cases, restrained dials, and some of the brand's most serious classical complications, from perpetual calendars to minute repeaters and tourbillons. It was the quiet, scholarly side of AP. As the Royal Oak came to dominate and the newer Code 11.59 took over the round-watch role, the Jules Audemars line quietly faded, so you'll find it pre-owned now. For a collector who wants classical high watchmaking with the AP name and none of the hype, it's a quietly rewarding and often undervalued place to look.
