Edward Piguet was Audemars Piguet's shaped-case dress line, the rectangular and tonneau counterpart to the round Jules Audemars, and named after the brand's other founder. Where most of AP is round or octagonal, this was the elegant, Art Deco-flavored exception: elongated cases, clean dials, and often a surprising complication tucked inside, like a tourbillon or power reserve you wouldn't expect in a dress watch. It never had a wide audience, which is part of its quiet charm. AP has long since discontinued it, so it lives entirely on the pre-owned market now. For anyone who wants a shaped AP dress watch and doesn't mind going off the beaten path, it's an overlooked and genuinely distinctive option.
